Nappy Valley is committed to protecting your privacy online. The personal information that you give us is held with care and security. We will never sell, rent or transfer this information to third parties for their marketing purposes. All personal information collected and used from the Nappy Valley site will be processed in accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act.
Information collected
In order to place an ad on the Nappy Valley site we will require you to supply your name, e-mail address, postal address, post code and phone number. If you need to update this information at any time, you may do so, by logging in and clicking on “My Details” in the Member’s Section.
Credit Card information is collected over a secure connection using PayPal. Credit card information is used solely for the purpose of payment processing. Nappy Valley retains no record of credit card details.
Disclosure of Information
No personal details given at registration will be published online when you place an ad apart from your postcode. Your postcode is used solely to provide a map to help potential Buyers know the approximate area they will need to collect from.
We have built in a secure message form for potential Buyers to contact Sellers directly. If this form is used, the Seller will receive an email from the Buyer’s email address. Therefore, the Seller will be able to view the Buyer’s email address and reply directly. Sellers may choose to publish personal contact email addresses and telephone numbers in the text of their ad, but do so at their own risk. This information will be in the public domain and e-mail addresses can be used by third parties for spam or fraudulent means.
Use of cookies
When you visit our Site, we issue a "cookie" or unique identification code that enables us to remember your postcode and login details when you next return to the Site. This will enhance your experience with us, however if you would prefer this information not to be recognized, you can set your browser to refuse cookies, or to warn you before accepting them.
Security
The internet is not a secure medium, however, Nappy Valley has put in place a number of industry standard security measures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information.
